ABSTRACT

In Chapter 2, we briefly discussed the process management lifecycle. In this chapter, we will expand on the concepts in Chapter 2 and focus on the essential elements needed to successfully implement a business process management (BPM). We will discuss the steps an organization seeking to implement BPM can perform. BPM is simply not a technology proposition. We will take a holistic view and look into organizational, functional, and technical aspects of implementing BPM.
