ABSTRACT
Unlike the waterfall SDLC, with its dependence on manually generated specification documents and program code, its long time frames, and its low level of customer involvement, RAD is characterized by short time frames, extensive customer involvement, and the use of computer-aided software engineering (CASE) tools, which automate portions of the development cycle.
