ABSTRACT
As we have seen, thermodynamics deals with equilibrium states and allows us to evaluate the likelihood that a given or proposed reaction may proceed. This does not say that a reaction will proceed but only that it is feasible for it to do so. In many cases it may prove impossible to find the right catalyst or conditions that favor desired products.
