ABSTRACT
What is done during an emergency can have a major impact on the consequences of that emergency. We have already discussed in some detail the emergency response aspects of dealing with the crisis. This chapter focuses on coping with the other issues that need to be handled during and immediately after an emergency to minimize the impact of that emergency.
