ABSTRACT
The chapters in this book show how time to event methods have been used in many different disciplines, and their clear potential for use in the risk assessment of chemicals and contaminated media. Statistical approaches currently used to analyze ecotoxicity data grew out of the “end of pipe” regulatory context of the 1960s and 1970s, when control of acutely lethal point source discharges was a priority.
