ABSTRACT
The next topic for our study is that of gaseous substances, such as air, natural gas, and carbon dioxide. These substances require special attention because they display special and unique properties, properties different from liquids and solids. Gases play a significant role in many aspects of our lives. For example, air, a gaseous mixture, covers the surface of the Earth to a depth of several miles. We cannot, indeed, we do not desire to escape this safe gaseous envelope that sustains us. Life depends on air. The surface of the Earth and all of life have evolved here over time constantly exposed to air and its properties. The world is what it is because of this gaseous material substance. Thus, the physical and chemical properties of air and its components are very important to us.
