ABSTRACT
An engineer dies and reports to the PearlyGates. St. Peter checks his list and says, ‘‘Ah, I see that you’re an engineer.You’re in thewrong place.’’
So the engineer reports to the gates of Hell where he is cordially admitted. But very soon he becomes dissatisfied with the comfort level there, so he sets about designing and building improvements. Before long he’s provided Hell with air conditioning, flush toilets and escalators. Naturally this makes him a very popular guy.
