ABSTRACT
Libraries are cluttered with biographies of scientists. Rather than retell the familiar tales of well known scientists, it seemed about time someone wrote a totally new biography on a fresh subject. Certainly the world doesn’t need yet another biography of Thomas Edison or Albert Einstein.
