ABSTRACT
Various examples of subcritical excitation of plasma fluctuations suggest that multiple kinds of fluctuations can be realized for a given set of global plasma parameters. The bifurcation between different self-sustained fluctuations can possibly occur. The statistical approach considering a noise is explained in this chapter.
