ABSTRACT
On the basis of a wise decision that Erbslo¨h and von Willisen had made, GEMA had produced in the summer of 1935 its first radar, which they designated EM-2, the term EM being derived from ‘Entfernungsmessgera¨t’ with the 2 identifying radar and a 1 designating sound location.
