ABSTRACT
The main result of this section (Theorem 3.5) concerns the way a Lie algebra homomorphism integrates to a Lie group homomorphism. This fact turns out to be closely related to the way a local Lie group structure enlarges to a (global) Lie group structure (see Theorem 3.3 below).
