ABSTRACT
Scattering of acoustic or electromagnetic waves plays an important role in
many elds of applied sciences. Acoustic and electromagnetic waves are
used and investigated in such dierent areas as medical imaging, ultra-
sound tomography, material science, nondestructive testing, radar, remote
sensing, aeronautics, and seismic exploration.
