ABSTRACT
Antibodies, a class of glycoproteins, should be handled and stored using the considerations generally applied to proteins. They are susceptible to degradation by proteases found in many of the fluids containing the antibodies and need to be protected from microbial contamination. By following a few general principles, batches of antibodies can be maintained with very little loss of activity for several years.
