ABSTRACT
The harness includes the insulated conductors, connectors, and the shield. Its mass is determined from the detailed layout and routing of all the required wiring. For this reason, it is often considerably more than that estimated without actual layout at a preliminary design stage. A typical harness mass breakdown is given in Figure 11.1.
