ABSTRACT
During the last decade there have been renewed efforts in the search for novel thermoelectric materials
with improved efficiency. It is believed that one of the promising ways of increasing the thermoelectric
efficiency is the development of new inhomogeneous materials and structures including heterostructures,
segmented, and functionally graded materials.
