ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to provide front-end designers with guidelines and good design practices for writing efficient register transfer logic (RTL) code from a low-power standpoint. It is suitable for engineers that are already familiar with RTL coding for synthesis, but are not necessarily aware of lowpower techniques.
