ABSTRACT
As is the case for the six control techniques discussed earlier, the
goal of all five control techniques
that will now be covered, except for the last one, is to have
equivalence of effects
of the secondary, extraneous variables across all of the independent variable conditions. This is accomplished by
eliminating differential average values
of the extraneous variables under the different levels of the independent variables.
