A will and supporting letters (typed by an unknown person, “Kim”) were purported to have been authored by the decedent and were presented by her former

neighbors, but their authorship was disputed by contestants. The Court decided in favor of the decedent’s siblings, rejecting the will. From the Sept. 23, 1999 Decision. The decision was upheld in

Crittell v. Bingo

et al. by the Supreme Court of Alaska No. S-9468. From the Nov. 9, 2001 Decision No. 5496: “Though denied by the [appellants], the evidence proves that the Will and “Kim” papers were prepared by the [appellants] or at their direction .” This decision is discussed in Chapter 7, and can be accessed at
