ABSTRACT
Fire is a type of chemical reaction. It is a rapid, self-sustaining oxidation reaction where heat, light, and byproducts are produced. While it may seem almost trivial to repeat, in order for fire to take place there must be three things:
• combustible fuel in sufficient quantity. • sufficient air or an oxidizing agent to react with the fuel. • an energy source, agent, or action sufficient to facilitate ignition.
