ABSTRACT
When a vehicle moves, it possesses a quantity of kinetic energy in proportion to the magnitude of its velocity and mass. In order for the vehicle to come to a stop, its kinetic energy must be dissipated. Skidding is one common way to dissipate vehicle kinetic energy.
