ABSTRACT
Some companies rarely have accidents or catastrophic events. Others seem to have accidents and misfortunes on a regular basis. Why? Is one plant luckier than another? Are the people who work in one plant inherently more “accident prone” than those who work in another? Or, do the people in one plant just make more mistakes, perhaps more serious mistakes, than the people in another plant?
