ABSTRACT
Hybridization can, in fact, be carried out with a single probe, but in this case the detection will be reduced by half.
The nature of the probes is not a limiting factor as such. However, simplicity should be favored, which is the reason the most widely used probes are:
• Synthetic oligonucleotides
➫
These are easily obtained and labeled, and give efficient hybridization.
