ABSTRACT
At room temperature, and up to 37°C, the DNA matrix is double stranded.
Between 94 and 100°C, denaturation takes place, i.e., the two strands separate out.
If, after denaturation, the single-stranded DNA is immediately brought down to a temperature close to 0°C, no hybrid will form.
