ABSTRACT
In resolution by diastereomeric salt formation, the selection of a suitable solvent is of prime importance. Is it possible to induce crystallization of the salt in the selected solvent? If yes, which enantiomer is predominant in the precipitate and what is its enantiomeric purity?
