ABSTRACT
Testing, the fifth phase of the traditional SDLC, is part of the Improve phase in the Six Sigma DMAIC model. Although the Six Sigma step is simply “Implement,” inherent in that statement is the need to ensure that the solution being implemented is defect-free. The corresponding DFSS phase is Verification.
