ABSTRACT

There are many tools, techniques, and approaches available to the modeler to uncover, record, and organize information related to a specific topic. One of the most difficult skills to master in modeling is how to exclude information from a model or representation. This is particularly true for written documents as there is a finite amount of attention span that can be assumed for any particular audience; exceeding that span means that the remaining information will not be considered or remembered. Thus, it is the duty of the modeler to anticipate audience need.
