ABSTRACT
For deaths that require medicolegal death investigation, especially when death occurs outside of a hospital, there is usually a death scene that must be controlled in order to allow an orderly, systematic, and professional investigation, but who has control over the scene of death? Who decides who may come into the scene area and when? And who determines the order in which things are done and who does them?
