ABSTRACT
Introduction The use of technologies that include radio frequency identification (RFID) and sensors is rapidly changing the supply chains of many industries. In Chapter 3, we reviewed how these technologies are affecting the supply chains in the agribusiness industry and the tracking of animals, marine life, and people. However, other technological advances are transforming industries and their related supply chains.
