ABSTRACT
While Henry Ford and Fredrick Winslow Taylor made enormous contributions to factory production, Dr. Edward Deming has gone beyond them. He has influenced every facet of work in every industry, influencing government, schools, and hospitals. Deming has had a profound effect on how people think, how they see themselves, and how they relate to their customers, to one another, and to society.
