ABSTRACT

This book has addressed the concepts of basic ridgeology and has introduced the reader to several advanced ridgeology and palmar flexion crease identification techniques. There are many other areas of friction ridge identification open to exploration such as more advanced ridgeology techniques, poroscopy, palmar flexion crease identification, the analysis of complex and problem prints, and the techniques used to carry out and present these types of comparisons in court. If this book assists anyone in reaching the level where they are prepared to study any of the more advanced techniques, or if it encourages them to seek further information, it will have served its purpose.
