ABSTRACT
In the absence of some form of calibration or trimming, the precision of the Nyquist rate converters described Chapter 54 is strictly dependent on the precision of the VLSI components that comprise the converter circuits. Oversampled data converters are a means of exchanging the speed and data processing capability of modern sub-micron integrated circuits for precision that would otherwise not be readily
attainable.
