ABSTRACT

Human response to vibration can be both psychological and physiological in nature. Its study is

multidisciplinary in nature, involving engineering, biomedical, scientific, and psychological issues. The

subject is complicated by the fact that normally other factors, such as posture, noise, and forces

simultaneously affect the human response, and it is virtually impossible to separately identify (resolve)

the effect of the vibration alone. Furthermore, vibration has both beneficial as well as harmful effects of

vibration.
