ABSTRACT
Although pharmaceutical calculations may be easy, a whole set of rules are expected to be followed by the pharmacy student (as well as the practitioner). While students may think this is all so boring and “I can easily handle this in my head,” please take note of what pharmacy education authorities have advocated for years. Heed the warning: Get it absolutely right all the time, and further, make certain that your numerical values are presented in such a manner that nobody else will misinterpret them! Your future patients’ lives depend on it.
