ABSTRACT
As discussed in Chapter 2, concentrations of solutions may be expressed in gravimetric or chemical concentrations. Discussions on procedures for weighing and handling can be found in practicaloriented elementary chemistry books. The exercises here centre around the quantitative aspects. Students should be familiar with safety rules, such as always adding concentrated acids to water while stirring and not adding water to acid.
