ABSTRACT
Lockout=tagout is not a hazard, but quite the opposite. It is intended to be a procedure to prevent the errant release of energy from that energy’s intended use. In most instances it is thought of as control of the release of electrical energy. This is just a perception since it is intended to prevent the release of all forms of energy that might or could cause injuries or even death to workers.
