ABSTRACT
The need for health and safety programs in industry has been an area of controversy for some time. Many businesses feel that a written safety and health program is not worth the paper on which it is written. However, most safety and health professionals and a number of companies and business are viewing a safety and health program as an integral part of their safety and health effort.
