The growing desire of consumers to acquire the latest technology, both at home and in the workplace, along with the rapid technological development of new products, has led to a new environmental problem: waste, viz., used products that are discarded prematurely. But as the saying goes that behind every problem lies an opportunity, reprocessing of this waste means

1. Saving natural resources: We conserve land and reduce the need to drill for oil and dig for minerals by making products using materials and components obtained from reprocessing instead of virgin materials.
