ABSTRACT
After pilot testing the solution to a problem and then deciding to implement it globally, the hard work is essentially done. However, this does not mean the job is complete. The term continuous improvement means exactly what it states: The job is never complete. After implementing the solution, a follow-up procedure should be implemented to monitor the improvement. In the Six Sigma methodology, this phase is referred to as the control phase.
