ABSTRACT
Wireless communication networks include everything from cellular, personal communications system, and group system for mobile communications networks to wireless local area networks (LANs,) wireless Asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), and satellite-based networks. Although wireless data communication is one of the most promising communications technologies, the industry is still in its infancy. Wireless personal area network (WPAN) enables communication or information exchange between computing devices that can be portable or mobile and can be worn or carried by individuals. WPAN operates in the license-free radio frequency band of 2.4 GHz, with ranges up to 10 m and data rates up to 1 Mbps. The wireless private branch exchange technology is the core of the wireless office. Workers are being forced by job demands to be mobile but not far from their telephones. Wireless private branch exchange technology is designed to meet both demands.
