ABSTRACT
A motion of the cutting tool relative to the work is necessary for machining a given part surface on the machine tool. Relative motions of the work and of the cutting tool are necessary for generation of a part surface being machined. No machining operation can be performed without a certain relative motion of the work and of the cutting tool. The work and the cutting tool relative motion are observed for all methods of machining of surfaces on a machine tool.
