ABSTRACT
Although the transportation system provides a complex and far-reaching series of nodes and conduits organized into networks, functioning as a system it incorporates two other concepts: (1) the transportation sector’s interdependencies on other sectors; and (2) the strategic, operational, and tactical levels that must be examined when addressing overall goals and mission analysis of this sector.
