ABSTRACT

Textual communication has a signifi cant impact on cognitive development, social inclusion, and integration of all people of any age. While people have equal rights, they have diff erent skills and abilities. At any moment an accident or disease can lead to a number of disorders and even to the loss of perceptual, motor, or cognitive ability. Being bere of any way to communicate their needs, people can be considered “communication disabled.” In such a case, it is diffi cult to provide appropriate assistance (Boissiere, 2003).
