ABSTRACT

In this sense, the overall project of cybertherapy is in straight line with the philosophy behind universal design and access (Stephanidis et al., 1998, 1999). It aims at providing technological access to health care services to as large a population of users as possible. Cybertherapy’s research and development (R&D) contributes to the general endeavors toward helping populations with special needs all around the world enter the information society.
