ABSTRACT
Outlining examples of best practice always risks not taking into account other examples that one might value being much better suited to demonstrate the issue than those selected. As up to now no extended surveys or comparative studies on best practice have been conducted, and only very general quality indicators and criteria do exist. Awards or competitions, most of the time, do not clearly outline how they value best practice in design for all, as the selection is based on the opinion and closed discussions of experts.
