ABSTRACT
Storage is a vital component of virtualization in the data center. Successful virtualization deployments require proper planning of storage requirements and a solid understanding of VMware's Virtual Machine File System (VMFS). The choice of storage may comprise of one or more storage technologies to obtain the necessary performance, functionality and scalability typically needed in modern data centers.
