ABSTRACT
The physical characteristics of radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags and the typical architecture of RFID-based systems introduce specific threats to the security and privacy of such systems. The privacy threats of RFID have received most attention so far, especially in the media. But the security threats are equally important in real applications.
