ABSTRACT
Background The scheduled network is built from the original Network. The result is a network that is scheduled in calendar dates. The result is a hybrid between a network and a Gantt chart.
This Gantt chart in Figure 15.1 shows four activities (A, B, C, D) as bars arranged according to their early start dates (4/22, 4/28, 5/03). The length of the bars (activities) varies according to the duration of the activity, and each line of the chart contains only one activity (as a bar). This Gantt chart is very common as an output of PC software.
