ABSTRACT
One of the biggest advantages of using network-based communication is that numerous ideas, opinions, and interests by diverse people can be easily collected. Because reading through all the communication logs is impractical, extracting key elements of the communication is an essential and important component of discourse analysis. This chapter reviews an algorithm for finding key discussants and key terms simultaneously, called the key elements extraction (KEE) algorithm.1
