ABSTRACT
In the past decade Oracle has evolved through acquisition and development from a database company into a comprehensive applications platform. In this context we view applications as a suite of modules that can provide an organization with robust transaction processing capability for accounting, distribution, manufacturing, and human resources business requirements. This chapter contains information about the high-level capabilities of the applications and how those applications exist within the compliance ecosystem.
