Oakley, Kenneth Page (1911-1981) British physical anthropologist Oakley, the son of a physician, was educated at University College, London, where he obtained his PhD in 1938. After a brief period with the Geological Survey, Oakley joined the British Museum (Natural History); he remained there for his whole career and served as deputy keeper (anthropology) from 1959 until his retirement in 1969.
